What is your name and current position?
Chris Carlson, Client Advisor
How long have you been employed at Olmec?
I’ve been at Olmec for 6 years now.
What office are you based out of?
I work out of the New Jersey office, virtually, and sometime in the field.
Why did you join Olmec?
It just seemed like a good opportunity. I was looking for an MSP position to grow more, mostly because I was limited in the past.
What is the most interesting or favorite part of your job?
Every day is different, there are new challenges. I enjoy working in different areas of expertise on a daily basis.
What are some cool projects you’ve seen our clients do with Olmec’s services/products?
Just a feeling of accomplishment. I enjoy working on hard problems and coming up with solutions. Client satisfaction is also a hugely rewarding part of my job.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
Working with a great crew of coworkers and making sure they’re happy and enjoying their job.
When you think of Olmec’s culture, what 3 words come to mind?
I would say diversity, friendly, and family.
What are your hobbies outside of Olmec?
I enjoy riding my Harley and playing in a band.
Tell us one interesting fact about yourself.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) in Newark, NJ with a degree in Engineering and Technology.
